Beauty Through Adversity



This piece was recently installed outside the reception of Look Ahead Hostel, 41 Castle Lane, Westminster London SW1.

It's about 10 feet high, though as it is planted below street level it only sticks up a couple of feet above the railings.

It took me about 40 hours to find the components and weld them together.

The stem is made from twisted scaffold pole. Thanks to George at Morley College for helpling me twist!
