Dragonfly

This is the first piece I ever made. Most of its bits are reclaimed from the River Thames.

It's about four feet long and has a similar wingspan. The wings are made from bits of an old shopping trolley wrested from the mud under Putney bridge, and the eyes are teastrainers, the only nonscrap parts of the whole.

Presently it hangs on my wall.
